Size: 15 cm Origin: Indo-Pacific Minimum Tank Size: 300 litres Overview The Klein's Butterflyfish, also known as the Sunburst or Orange Butterflyfish, is a beautifully coloured species featuring a yellow body, dorsal, anal, and tail fins, accented by a black eye stripe and a dusky white face. This butterflyfish can grow up to 15 cm in length and does best in a well-established aquarium with 300 litres or larger. It requires plenty of swimming space and rockwork for grazing and hiding. While it is generally peaceful, it can become territorial if housed in too small of an aquarium. Though it is not reef-safe and may pick at corals and crustaceans, multiple Klein's Butterflyfish can be introduced into large aquariums simultaneously. To maintain their health, provide a varied diet of meaty and algae-based foods, feeding them multiple times daily.
