It closely resembles the Lemonpeel Angelfish but lacks the blue markings around the eyes and fins. These angelfish are a captivating addition to a marine aquarium but require careful management if placed in a reef tank, as they may nip at large-polyped stony corals, soft coral polyps, and clam mantles. A 265-litre or larger aquarium with plenty of live rock for hiding and grazing is essential for this species. They thrive in environments where they can graze on natural algae growth. Diet The Yellow Angelfish's diet should consist of a mix of plant-based and meaty foods. Feed them Spirulina, marine algae, high-quality angelfish preparations, mysis shrimp, and frozen shrimp to keep them healthy and vibrant.
