Its name comes from its elusive nature—often darting into rockwork when startled. With a vibrant reddish-pink body and faint blue markings, this wrasse adds a splash of color to any setup. Key Considerations: ✔ Reef Safe – Won’t harm corals but may prey on very small invertebrates. ✔ Requires Hiding Spots – Thrives in tanks with ample live rock for shelter. ✔ Semi-aggressive – May be territorial toward smaller or more timid fish. ✔ Carnivorous Diet – Prefers small meaty foods like mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and high-quality pellets. ✔ Excellent Pest Control – Can help manage populations of small unwanted pests like flatworms.
