Mixing Instructions
- Add the salt to RO/DI water while stirring until fully dissolved.
- Check specific gravity using a refractometer. Adjust by adding small amounts of salt or water until the desired specific gravity (1.025–1.027) is reached.
- Note that conductivity readings may be 10% lower than expected with freshly mixed saltwater—specific gravity is recommended.
- Slight cloudiness during the initial mixing phase is normal and indicates the bio-active substances are working.
