Overview

Connecting Neptune Systems modules over greater distances — say, from one side of a large tank to the other, or between a display and a separate equipment area — needs a genuinely longer Aquabus cable than the standard lengths provide. The Neptune Systems 15' Aquabus Cable (M/M) is built specifically for these longer runs.

It's included with Neptune's Automatic Feeding System and is a great solution any time your Apex components need to be connected above or below the tank over real distance.

Who it's for

Setup & tips
  • Never connect a computer or USB device to this cable — despite the resemblance, it isn't a USB cable and can damage your equipment
  • Avoid creating a loop when connecting multiple modules; daisy-chain or star configurations both work fine
  • Aim for one powered Neptune accessory, such as an Energy Bar, for every 75ft of total cable run
  • Route the cable neatly to avoid unnecessary tension on connectors over its longer length
