Overview

Nano and compact reef tanks need genuinely controllable, full-spectrum lighting just as much as larger systems, but many fixtures on the market are scaled-down compromises. The LM-12 Pro LED Light from SeaTorch is purpose-built for nano and compact reefs, delivering precise spectral control and even coverage in a genuinely small footprint.

Built around Cree and SemiLED diodes with second-generation TIR optics, it's engineered to hold stable PAR output suitable for SPS, LPS and soft coral systems alike.

Key features
  • 50W controlled output, delivering measured performance of 140–160 μmol at 45cm water depth
  • Seven independently adjustable spectrum channels: Cool White, Royal Blue, Blue, Red, Green, Purple and UV
  • Coverage area of 45cm x 45cm, ideal for nano and compact tanks
  • Advanced aluminium heat dissipation system for consistent thermal stability
  • Wireless app control via the SeaTorch mobile app, with sunrise and sunset transitions
  • Comes with a mounting arm kit, suited to glass up to 14mm thick
What's in the box
  • LM-12 Pro LED fixture
  • Meanwell power supply
  • Mounting arm kit
Who it's for

Nano and compact reef keepers wanting genuine spectral control and app-based scheduling in a fixture properly scaled for smaller tanks, rather than an oversized light run at reduced output.

Setup & tips
  • Mount securely using the included bracket, checking it suits your glass thickness
  • Download the SeaTorch app and connect via LAN or router mode to configure channels and photoperiod
  • Set a gradual sunrise and sunset transition rather than an abrupt on/off for less stress on fish and corals
  • Maintain clear airflow around the fixture to support its cooling system and long-term performance
