An RO membrane alone won't get your water to true zero TDS — that final polish comes from a deionisation stage, and DI resin doesn't last forever. This DI Resin Replacement gives your RO/DI unit a fresh mixed-bed resin fill, restoring it to genuine 0 ppm output for topping up and mixing saltwater.
For reef tanks in particular, where even trace dissolved solids can throw off water chemistry over time, keeping your DI stage genuinely spent-free matters more than it might for a freshwater setup.

Setup & tips
- Check your TDS reading regularly — a rise from 0 ppm is the clearest sign your resin needs replacing
- Rinse new resin briefly before use to clear any loose fines
- Store any unused resin in a cool, dry place, sealed to keep it from drying out or degrading
- Replace your RO membrane and pre-filters on schedule too — a tired membrane will exhaust your DI resin much faster than it should
