Overview
Getting a coral frag to actually stay put — rather than tumbling off the plug the moment your powerhead kicks in — comes down to using the right glue. Coraffix 56.7g from Two Little Fishies is an ethyl cyanoacrylate bonding compound with a honey-like consistency, purpose-built for attaching stony corals, gorgonians and other sessile invertebrates to live rock or frag plugs.
It's a staple in most fragging kits for good reason: it bonds fast, even underwater, and holds up long-term in a reef environment.

Setup & tips
- Apply above the waterline where possible, then quickly submerge the piece to form a skin before pressing it into place
- Wet the glue with tank water to help accelerate curing
- Hold the frag firmly in position for the first 20–30 seconds while the bond sets
- Wear gloves and avoid skin contact — this is a genuine cyanoacrylate adhesive and will bond skin quickly
