Overview
Running a calcium reactor is one of the most cost-effective ways to keep calcium, alkalinity and magnesium topped up in a reef tank, but the process of dissolving coral skeleton media doesn't replenish every trace element your corals actually use. Coral Essentials Calcium Reactor Part 1 is formulated specifically to fill that gap, supplying the trace elements a reactor alone typically under-delivers.
It's designed to be dosed alongside Calcium Reactor Part 2 in equal parts, together covering the fuller trace element profile corals need beyond what a reactor provides on its own.
