Overview
Nano and all-in-one tanks often don't have the sump space for a full-sized in-sump skimmer, which usually means skipping protein skimming altogether - not ideal for water quality. The Bubble Magus QQ2 solves this with a compact, drop-in design built specifically for smaller systems.
It's a genuinely useful option for frag tanks, quarantine systems, or any smaller display where a traditional skimmer just won't fit.

Setup & tips
- Maintain the minimum 4 inch water level required for proper operation
- Keep the water level roughly 35mm from the top of the skimmer body for best performance
- Adjust the air damper gradually to dial in the right amount of foam production for your tank
- Clean the collection cup regularly, as smaller skimmers can fill up faster relative to their size
