Overview

Keeping calcium, alkalinity, magnesium and trace elements balanced usually means juggling two, three or more separate dosing solutions. Tropic Marin All-For-Reef takes a different approach, combining all of that into a single solution so there's one bottle to dose instead of several to keep in sync.

It's built around calcium and carbonate sources that don't add unwanted byproducts like excess sodium chloride, so it won't throw off your tank's broader ionic balance the way some traditional two-part methods can.

Key features
  • Single solution combining calcium, alkalinity, magnesium and trace elements in one bottle
  • No mixing, no reactors, no gas cylinders required
  • Doesn't alter salinity or overall ionic balance
  • Includes the same trace element package as Tropic Marin's dedicated Trace A and Trace K products
  • Dosing-pump ready for automated daily supplementation
Who it's for

Reef keepers who want to simplify major and minor element dosing into a single product - suits everything from nano tanks through to established SPS and mixed-reef systems, though very heavily stocked SPS tanks with high demand may eventually need a dedicated calcium reactor or two-part method alongside it.

Setup & tips
  • Start with a conservative daily dose and increase gradually, using alkalinity as your main indicator
  • Test calcium and alkalinity regularly rather than assuming the dose is holding steady as your coral stocking changes
  • Dose into an area of good flow so it disperses evenly through the tank
  • If your tank's demand outpaces the maximum recommended daily dose, that's a sign to consider a calcium reactor or two-part dosing alongside it
