Overview
AF Amino Mix is a concentrated amino acid supplement designed to fix a problem that strong skimming quietly creates: amino acid deficiency. Running an efficient skimmer keeps water clean, but it also strips out a lot of the dissolved organics corals rely on, and low nutrient levels often show up as pale, washed-out colouring or even outright bleaching.
This supplement replaces those lost amino acids — including biotin, alanine, glutamine, leucine, lysine and serine — to help prevent bleaching, boost colour, and support healthier zooxanthellae populations for stronger photosynthesis and faster growth.

Who it's for
Suits any reef system running SPS and/or LPS corals, particularly tanks with strong protein skimming where colour has faded or growth has stalled. Useful as a regular part of a coral feeding and colour-maintenance routine rather than a one-off fix.
Setup & tips
- Dose 1 drop per 100L (27 US gal) every other day, after lights out — don't dilute, and don't mix with other products in the same container
- Start conservatively: begin at half (or even a quarter) of the target dose and watch how your corals respond before working up to the full dose, since coral load varies tank to tank
- SPS and LPS corals absorb nutrients best when fed after lights out; Zoanthids, Ricordea and other mushroom corals should instead be fed during the day
- Dispense directly into the aquarium and switch the skimmer off for about an hour to maximise uptake; once opened, store in the fridge if temperatures exceed 24°C
